It is home to the highest concentration of research scientists and complementary research professionals in the region with access to 20+ Institutes of Research Excellence within a 2-mile radius.<br></p><p>It was started with the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) an affiliate of the City of Hope and the International Genomics Consortium (IGC), renowned world leaders in genomics, generating breakthrough research and information enabling the delivery of personalized, life-changing medical treatments to millions. These two organizations have spun out more than 30 companies that have continued to be leaders in their fields, further multiplying their impact on the advancement of precision medicine.
